World of Warcraft

"Sometimes it's just not your day."Episode 9 of The Guild is up, and it's confrontation time. Some people consider themselves to be just plain unlucky. The guildies meet each other in RL again to take down the bank ninja Bladezz, but yet another boss battle looms deep on the horizon. Gainus of Icecrown posted a thread on ""Murphy's Law,"" as it applies to World of Warcraft.Y'know, not that we don't love this series (we do), but has there ever been any actual gameplay footage here. Murphy's law states ""Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, and at the worst possible time, in the worst possible way."" This particular adage is regularly applied in situations of irony and coincidence, in much of Western Culture. Am I the only one that would kind of like to see them in their characters, maybe raiding into Karazhan or wherever else they're raiding. The original poster noted ""Every time I get to that point in 2v2 arena where a psychic scream will let me get off 2-3 mana burns, my fear makes my target run in a perfect L, away from me and behind a pillar before I can even get off 1 cast. Maybe there's legal issues or something involved (but surely Blizzard wouldn't mind, right. It's like that's the exact path they would have taken if they weren't feared."" Such is life in the world of randomness and procs.). Some of these others might sound familiar: Delrof of Argent Dawn, ""Every time I fight a DPS intensive boss fight, Windfury never goes off."" Gazlow of Kalecgos, ""Watching Beast Lord shoulders drop 3 times in a row in Steam Vaults on my druid. At any rate, another fun episode for The Guild (Tink needs to get some new DS games, I beat Mario like years ago), and it seems like things are coming to a boil on this storyline.
ow powerleveling Then running it 8+ times on my hunter never to see them drop."" Abloodymess of Blood Furnace, Ii will somehow get crushed 3 times in a row by Prince Malchezzar even though he has only a 3% chance to crush me"" Gamera of Uther, ""Dropping Grounding Totem the instant Death Coil hits, so you run around like an idiot watching it sit there useless."" Nethaera even weighed in on the subject with ""Anytime I need to roll for something I want, I lose.Episode 10 should be a big one. I have to say this is by far my favorite series. If it's something I don't need and isn't worth all that much, I'll win the roll every time."" Sometimes I find it hard to find a group.Even without game play footage, that is what makes it great, its not about the game play, its about the guild. Whatever my spec for Shaman or Paladin, groups are inevitably looking for something else. Have you found that Murphy's Law applies to your WoW experience. Excellent work yet again. eve isk " .And a great thanks to one of my favorite actresses around! This series isnt about gameplay. Its a character piece. As far as relatability; Its not about being to relate, if anyone can relate to these characters, then something is wrong. wow gold The beginning of the series gave you something sort of ordinary so you could recognize the situation, then it takes it beyond average and into the area of FUNNY. Its outlandish for a reason. FANTASTIC series and awesome acting all 'round. Phenomenal series. wow powerleveling It's evolved from a WoW thing, into a truly well developed story. Can't wait to see episode 10! I think I can already see the ending though. Kinda like a, ""well what now.
lotro gold Well we still have that raid to finish up"" something of the kind where they all just go back to exactly what they were doing before. Best moment in the series though is definatley when they all meet up for the first time and nobody says anything, then i think its Tink says that she got an epic dagger, and everyones like WOAH. Lmao, so true. This webseries and the webcomic reallifecomics are prolly the best things around that actually bring a bit of the real world to WoW." .

the anti-Blizzard statements

"What's the number one thing Blizzard could do better."Episode 9 of The Guild is up, and it's confrontation time. I think Blizzard does a lot of things great. The guildies meet each other in RL again to take down the bank ninja Bladezz, but yet another boss battle looms deep on the horizon. And for the size of the game, they're doing a crazy good job.Y'know, not that we don't love this series (we do), but has there ever been any actual gameplay footage here. I get kind of tired of some of the anti-Blizzard statements. Am I the only one that would kind of like to see them in their characters, maybe raiding into Karazhan or wherever else they're raiding. They're the first company to host a virtual game world that has so many different levels of play, culture, and goals. Maybe there's legal issues or something involved (but surely Blizzard wouldn't mind, right. This makes it more like the real world then most of us care to admit. However that said, I think Blizzard needs to challenge itself to do better.). They're already miles ahead of their competition in terms of community involvement and game support. At any rate, another fun episode for The Guild (Tink needs to get some new DS games, I beat Mario like years ago), and it seems like things are coming to a boil on this storyline. SOE doesn't even come close, and LindenLabs just isn't in the same ballpark.Episode 10 should be a big one. I have to say this is by far my favorite series. But, that really doesn't meant they couldn't communicate and work with the players more.Even without game play footage, that is what makes it great, its not about the game play, its about the guild. I look at Blizzard as the best baseball team in the world (the Minnesota Twins, of course!) (okay, kidding...Carl Polad gutted the team this year, they have a lot of work to do. Excellent work yet again.
But let's sat the 2005 or 1991 Twins). And a great thanks to one of my favorite actresses around! This series isnt about gameplay. Even the best baseball team needs to improve their play, and can win that one extra game. Its a character piece. Blizzard is like that.As far as relatability; Its not about being to relate, if anyone can relate to these characters, then something is wrong. Sometimes I wonder if all of them realize this. The best way to make money ingame is... Selling things on the AH.The beginning of the series gave you something sort of ordinary so you could recognize the situation, then it takes it beyond average and into the area of FUNNY. unescape money I have way to make 5000g in a week on the AH if I work at it.Its outlandish for a reason. Know how to do this and become rich in game.FANTASTIC series and awesome acting all 'round. Phenomenal series. Maybe some day I'll share how I do it...It's evolved from a WoW thing, into a truly well developed story. ever quest platinum but I have a few thousand other topics to write on first. Favorite piece of loot. Can't wait to see episode 10! I think I can already see the ending though. Bulwark of Azzinoth.Kinda like a, ""well what now. I will have it soon. Well we still have that raid to finish up"" something of the kind where they all just go back to exactly what they were doing before. Best moment in the series though is definatley when they all meet up for the first time and nobody says anything, then i think its Tink says that she got an epic dagger, and everyones like WOAH. wow powerleveling Yes, my preciousssss. When I'm not playing WoW, I'm... Seriously, I get paid to play a computer game.Lmao, so true. This webseries and the webcomic reallifecomics are prolly the best things around that actually bring a bit of the real world to WoW." .
This is a dream job for me, so I try to take advantage of it as much as I can. If I'm not playing, I'm either writing, working on my course work, or hanging out with the girlfriend and my cat. wow Oh, and for the record, my cat can tank Antheron. True story. What accomplishment in-game are you most proud of. I don't know if I can answer this without making one group or another angry. lotro gold So I'll say I have a few. One is being part of an amazing tanking corps pre-BC. There were four of us who were geared to the bone, and we all got along great. lineage 2 adena Sadly this did not last, but is one the the things I'm proud of in game. Another thing would be killing Kael'Thas. The guild I was with (I've only been with 3 guilds in 3 ½ years, one I was with for 2 years) went from downing Gruul to Kael, and I was there for just about every step of the way.

Episode 9 of The Guild is up

"Drysc responded strongly to some QQ over at the forums when a poster from Kil'jaeden -- a PvP realm -- ranted about being griefed by high level characters while leveling up."Episode 9 of The Guild is up, and it's confrontation time. Drysc's uncompromising response. The guildies meet each other in RL again to take down the bank ninja Bladezz, but yet another boss battle looms deep on the horizon. Get some friends and fight back.Y'know, not that we don't love this series (we do), but has there ever been any actual gameplay footage here. He reasons that if players roll on a PvP server, they should expect to be griefed as part of the leveling process. Am I the only one that would kind of like to see them in their characters, maybe raiding into Karazhan or wherever else they're raiding. It's the same philosophy that has prevented Blizzard from allowing character transfers from PvE to PvP realms. Maybe there's legal issues or something involved (but surely Blizzard wouldn't mind, right. It really only makes sense.). If players roll on a PvP server, they shouldn't complain about players from the opposing faction taking advantage of the fact that they're flagged for PvP. As Drysc explains, ""the rules of war are based around attacking when the odds are in your favor"".At any rate, another fun episode for The Guild (Tink needs to get some new DS games, I beat Mario like years ago), and it seems like things are coming to a boil on this storyline. ow gold This could mean when opponents outnumber you, outlevel you, when you're low in health and/or if you're engaged with multiple mobs...Episode 10 should be a big one. I have to say this is by far my favorite series. the question isn't whether it's honorable or fair.Even without game play footage, that is what makes it great, its not about the game play, its about the guild.
It's war. Excellent work yet again. wow gold In a PvP server, everything is fair game. And a great thanks to one of my favorite actresses around! This series isnt about gameplay. There are no rules, and players certainly shouldn't bother sending tickets to GMs asking for any help (or sympathy). Its a character piece. This should probably be common sense, but Drysc's somewhat provocative response is something of a surprise -- to many players a welcome one.As far as relatability; Its not about being to relate, if anyone can relate to these characters, then something is wrong. wow gold While I'm all for etiquette (ganking a fisherman is just plain rude) and a personal sense of honor, players who roll on a PvP server know what they signed up for.The beginning of the series gave you something sort of ordinary so you could recognize the situation, then it takes it beyond average and into the area of FUNNY. Shape up or ship out -- character transfers, after all, are just a click away. As someone in the thread said, I don't think the guy was QQing as much as he was asking why people are motivated to gank. Its outlandish for a reason. Regardless, Drysc's response was very snarky but perhaps needed. I've been frustrated by ganking throughout my entire leveling experience, but I know what I was signing up for when I clicked the red PvP button. I leveled to 70, and 64, and 45, etc, on a PvP realm.FANTASTIC series and awesome acting all 'round. Phenomenal series. world of warcraft gold Ganking was part of the routine. It's evolved from a WoW thing, into a truly well developed story. I wasn't into Arena, or even BGs.Can't wait to see episode 10! I think I can already see the ending though. And now that arena is so well-received, getting ganked is even quicker.Kinda like a, ""well what now.
wow gold kaufen Now that there's so much gear out there designed with the sole intention of killing people as efficiently as possible, it's just tiresome."

everyones like WOAH

"Destruction banks on high shadow bolt burst damage and is often coined the ""shadow mage"" spec."Episode 9 of The Guild is up, and it's confrontation time. Affliction is the king of sustained damage, with a full range of DoTs at an affliction lock's disposal. The guildies meet each other in RL again to take down the bank ninja Bladezz, but yet another boss battle looms deep on the horizon. The interesting thing about these two trees is that their playstyles are probably as different as night and day.Y'know, not that we don't love this series (we do), but has there ever been any actual gameplay footage here. The destro lock is essentially a ""one-trick pony"", spending most of their time pushing a single button for shadow bolts. Am I the only one that would kind of like to see them in their characters, maybe raiding into Karazhan or wherever else they're raiding. Since most of them will sacrifice their pet for buffs, pet management is also taken out of the equation. Maybe there's legal issues or something involved (but surely Blizzard wouldn't mind, right. Affliction locks, on the other hand, generally have at least four, or even five spells in their rotation. Less spells in the rotation means less micro-management.). This gives destro locks more situational awareness in an encounter, which is essential for survival in raids where there is a lot of environmental damage. At any rate, another fun episode for The Guild (Tink needs to get some new DS games, I beat Mario like years ago), and it seems like things are coming to a boil on this storyline. ow power leveling On the other hand, affliction locks have more to juggle, more decisions to make and are generally ""busier"" in a fight.Episode 10 should be a big one. I have to say this is by far my favorite series.
Many warlocks have leveled as affliction locks due to the excellent sustainability of the build.Even without game play footage, that is what makes it great, its not about the game play, its about the guild. We are used to making snap decisions about DoTs on the fly and we enjoy the versatility warlocks have with respect to killing stuff: fear-kiting, drain-tanking and so on. Excellent work yet again. buy wow gold Hence it is understandable if some affliction players complain that the destro playstyle is ""boring"" or a ""no-brainer"" - since the active interaction with what's happening on screen is cut down significantly. Blizzard also seems to want most of us to become shadow bolt spammers in the end, as Warlock tier 6 gear favors shadow bolting locks. And a great thanks to one of my favorite actresses around! This series isnt about gameplay. ""Why is Blizzard not making gear tailored to our favorite build. Its a character piece. "" is the question asked by many affliction warlocks. It is however interesting to note that on the WWS Scoreboard, a neat ranking chart based on raid data pulled from WoW Web Stats, just 10 of 15 top Warlock DPSers are 0/21/40.As far as relatability; Its not about being to relate, if anyone can relate to these characters, then something is wrong. gold wow Out of the five who aren't destro locks, two are demonology, one is affliction and two have hybrid demo/destro builds - building for Soul Link probably. These numbers suggest that while 0/21/40 is the favored build, it doesn't seem to the runaway cookie-cutter build yet.The beginning of the series gave you something sort of ordinary so you could recognize the situation, then it takes it beyond average and into the area of FUNNY. Just as we have various outfits for various situations, there might be reasons to dip into supposedly less DPS-oriented trees to gain certain key talents, particularly for greater survivability during some encounters. In light of this, raid leaders should keep an open mind about warlock builds and not insist on the ""standard"" build for warlocks under their charge. Its outlandish for a reason.
On the other hand, affliction locks who are fretting over the simplicity of the destro build should also look for a build and playstyle that really works for both themselves and their guilds.FANTASTIC series and awesome acting all 'round. Phenomenal series. guild wars gold Yes, 0/21/40 is a popular endgame build, but it is not the only way to play your Warlock" .It's evolved from a WoW thing, into a truly well developed story. Can't wait to see episode 10! I think I can already see the ending though. Kinda like a, ""well what now. cheap wow gold Well we still have that raid to finish up"" something of the kind where they all just go back to exactly what they were doing before. Best moment in the series though is definatley when they all meet up for the first time and nobody says anything, then i think its Tink says that she got an epic dagger, and everyones like WOAH.

PvE Guild: LoS Chavos Del

"os Chavos Del [ocho] formed up in the fall of 2005 as a primarily PvE guild."NEW YORK (Billboard) - Amid ongoing competitive pressure from Facebook, MySpace is taking its latest shot at entering the music business as other social networking peers, such as Last.fm and imeem, are making big audience gains with ad-supported music offerings. "In a surprise move at a press conference CONCORD delegate Ashiro Nakuyama announced the beginning of a 'capsuleer outreach' program."NEW YORK (Billboard) - Amid ongoing competitive pressure from Facebook, MySpace is taking its latest shot at entering the music business as other social networking peers, such as Last.fm and imeem, are making big audience gains with ad-supported music offerings. According to sources, MySpace is planning a service that would combine free ad-supported music listening with paid MP3 downloads and music subscriptions. MySpace parent company News Corp. Critics see this as a shrewd move by the powerful organization responsible for Empire security and stability which in the past has criticized much of the independent capsuleer community for being at the top of their most wanted lists.has approached the major labels about forming a joint-venture music site, similar to its partnership with the major Hollywood studios for video site hulu.com. The delegate went on to briefly explain the continued rogue drone threat and the sheer potential of a mass incursion from the new regions that was realised when, with what CONCORD is referring to as the Activation event, the gates to the new regions spontaneously opened. The new service would be operated by MySpace and seemingly be positioned to compete against every offering from iTunes to subscription service Rhapsody to social networks. Mr Nakuyama explained that the capsuleer presence in these areas seems to have had a detrimental effect on the rogue drone population, in effect acting as a population control mechanism.Details are still unclear on MySpace's plans, but it is expected that MySpace will build the music service on its existing social networking base, which draws nearly 70 million U.S. baladeur MP3 To reflect these efforts and in a olive branch to the capsuleer organizations he announced that CONCORD will be accepting applicants to the long awaited naming committee for the new regions.users each month. Intercept the Reinforcements

" Next up is Intercept the Reinforcements, which puts you back on a dragonhawk courtesy of Ayren. I generally take the opportunity to bomb the Dead Scar while I'm here too. But before that, the Blood Elves. Bombing the ships isn't too hard, as long as you throw your Flame Oil somewhere on the deck, it seems to give you credit. The cooldown is non-existent, so you can do it quickly and easy before landing on the Sin'loren. That's when things get a bit dicey. It looks like everyone lands on the Sin'loren, so if you're looking for reservists there, the deck is generally pretty bare. In better news, I found that the other two ships were usually much less camped. On the other hand, swimming over to them can be a pain, and only the Sin'loren has the Unrestrained Dragonhawk that flies you back to the Island. So, yeah, better hope you like swimming, or hope Blizzard decides to randomize where you land and put an unrestrained dragonhawk on every ship. Making Ready The most frustrating quest this time, and possibly the most frustrating quest on the entire island thus far, is the very quest that you can't really afford to skip if you want the sweet badge gear: Making Ready. You may need to kill Myrmidons, but chances are you're going to get caught up in Frostbolts courtesy of the Sirens way more than you'd like. Also, finding a live Myrmidon at all was often a challenge, as it seemed a few times when I came down to do the quest, every single inch of the coastline was camped. I did get around that to some extent by swimming out from the coast a bit. guild wars gold There's a few Myrmidons swimming around underwater, and very few people seem to realize they're there.
However, even then, when you actually manage to kill a Myrmidon, there seems to be a better than average chance they won't even drop a key. A few times, I need to kill about 20 of the buggers before my first key even dropped. Luckily, once you have the keys, it's at least a bit easier, as all you have to do is open one of the many chests dotting the shore - the nearby murlocs won't even bother you (for once), as they're level 60 and neutral con - which also makes them perfect for letting out your frustrations with a bit of Hellfire, by the way. wow profession leveling I do wonder why we don't see any scattered nodes for the ore though. Previous ore quests generally always let you get the ore from nodes, and since one of my characters is a miner, I was looking forward to being able to have an alternate path to do this quest. I mean, come on, the naga have to get the ore from somewhere, right. Admittedly, it's not an outright bad quest, and it's a good excuse go get the shrine for Know Your Ley Lines... plus, you know, it unlocks the badge loot. wow leveln But it either needs fewer crowds, faster Myrmidon respawn rates, higher drop rates on the keys, or possibly all of the above. " "Phase 3 is now in full swing on many servers, including mine, and this time, we're working on taking the Sun's Reach Harbor as well as opening up the long awaited badge loot vendor. How do the quests stack up this time around. Does the near flawless run for great dailies from Quel'danas continue. I've had a few days to try out the runs, and I have to say that there's a few rough spots, but you can continue to grow your list of dailies with confidence as the new phases come on. Taking the Harbor If there's an alternate name you can give to phase 3, it's probably ""the Elf-killing phase."" You can even claim you're killing Elves when you kill the Naga for Smith Hauthaa - heavily mutated Elves, yes, but Elves all the same.
To start with, there's the plain old straight up Blood Elf-killing quest Taking the Harbor. wow eu The nice thing about this quest that, while the Harbor is generally camped, very few people consider heading over to Dawnstar village (to the west of the first quest area) and ripping things up there. Heading over there, I not only generally find more than enough Elves, and I can attune to the Bloodcrystal for the Know Your Ley Lines quest while I'm at it. The Elves themselves aren't too hard to kill. The Blood Knights don't hit too hard, and while they do have a heal, it's Holy Light, so it takes a while to cast, enough time for you to either interrupt it or kill them. wow lvl service The Summoners' Incinerate hits like a ton of bricks, but they have very little mana, so if you can drain that, they're forced to resort to melee, which is far from their strong suit. They have Imps with them, and I generally kill those first, since those fireballs can bring you down fast. All in all, This is an easy quest that gives you the joy of killing Blood Elves and the chance for a handful of Sunfury Signets. What's not to like. " .

In Eye of the Storm, towers

"Let's get one thing straight: in Eye of the Storm, capturing towers is more important than capturing the flag. I don't care how shiny and cool the flag is, that's not where the points are coming from. Well, okay, maybe some of it, but if you don't have any towers to begin with, the flag isn't worth squat. For the past week or so, I've seen a disturbing trend from the Horde on my Battlegroup -- there seems to be a growing fascination with fighting at the middle of the map, right where the flag is. I wrote about Eye of the Storm and the basics of how it's played. In Patch 2.3, the Battleground was modified so that flag captures will scale with the number of towers your side controls. I can't stress the importance of capturing towers enough. In EotS, unlike Arathi Basin, points are awarded constantly every 2 seconds, regardless of how many towers you control. However, these points scale with each tower you control, as shown by the table on the right. Capturing the flag with only one tower (I mean, why. guild wars gold ) will award your team 75 points. If your team controls two towers, it's worth 85 points; three, it's worth 100; and controlling all four towers means a swift and painless (ok, maybe not painless) death for your opponents as each flag cap is worth a whopping 500 points. It scales, people. And here's the one, brutal truth about the whole thing: it is mathematically impossible to win the game if you control only one tower. Go ahead, make some calculations. Done. wow profession leveling The only way it can be done is if you can capture the flag every 37.5 seconds, which honestly is barely enough time and necessitates complete unmolested passage.
Good luck with that. If your side controls only one tower, just don't bother with mid. wow leveln Get another tower asap. If your team is down one tower to your opponents' three, and you still go after the flag, you are an idiot not helping your team at all. The one and only time it becomes acceptable is with the intention of keeping the flag until your team secures another tower. That way it actually becomes more strategic and less moronic. You know, I was shouting this in EOTS matches since about 2.3. Everyone break off, take the first two towers, and a small group of 3-4 go take one of the back towers. wow eu Then someone grabs the flag and sits on it until we have control of the field. You know what,. we won a majority of the time doing that. The problem is that it was late at night when usually the better alliance members tended to play(or so it seemed). wow lvl service After about two days everyone stopped listening and just started camping the flag again, which as you stated does NOT work without tower support. Addon Spotlight: AuldLangSyne

"You've got friends, or at least you tell people you do. In fact, through your days of rolling PUG's, random premades and adding that Resto Shaman who saved your behind in STV, you've got a long list of friends. If you're anything like me, it can be weeks before one of your randomly added friends checks in with you, giving you plenty of time to forget why they were your friend in the first place. Enter AuldLangSyne, an addon that combines the functionality of CT_PlayerNotes and FriendsFacts. I have also been able to replace Fubar_GuildFu and Fubar_FriendsFu with this one, so it has come in quite handy. Let me just take a second to show my deep appreciation for developer's who add Fubar or Titan Panel embeds to their addons. So then, what can this addon do for you. Keep reading to find out about the features AuldLangSyne provides. This addon allows you to create and store notes for each of your friends. This includes different notes for friends with the same name on different servers. It also remembers information about your friends once it has seen them online. Once information has been collected, AuldLangSyne will display their name, level, class, guild and how long since they were last seen online. guild wars gold (Granted, Patch 2.4 added some of this functionality, you nay-sayers keep on reading for more features not added to the default UI.) Names are also colored by class, in case you needed another way to be reminded that your brother plays a Warrior. Notes can be toggled to show when your friends log in, keeping you from wondering who that person is and why you're being told that they're logging in. Like with many addons, if you type this command, it will give you a list of options, /auld friendlist, for example, will list the options and usage of the /auld friendlist command.
The easiest way to learn how to use these commands is to experiment with them while playing close attention to the feedback provided in your chat log." "For those of you using Fubar, you also have a plugin that provides much of the same information in a guild/friends pane. You can also right click the AuldLangSyne icon or text to open an options pane, which will allow you to forego using the /auld commands. My favorite part of this addon is the Fubar pane that displays the information I use most. wow profession leveling A quick glance a my Fubar tells me how many of my guildmates and friends are online. Hovering my cursor over the Fubar plugin opens a pane that displays not only who is on, but their location and notes as well. You can open the Friends panel, Guild Panel, whisper to one of them or invite them to your group all from here. wow leveln I can also read my guild's lame Message of the Day from here, which may one day show some dates for Karazhan. (A bunch of students at my University rerolled together on Archimonde in December, we're all hitting 70 now and can be epic all over again. Pray for our Kara success.) Unfortunately the lame MotD is my fault. Regardless of my life story, this addon has replaced at least three that I previously used, so I'll give it my endorsement for the sake of efficiency if nothing else. I love its functionality and only wish it had a built-in Kill-on-sight manager as well, because I'm vengeful and petty. wow eu Try this one out if you're on the market for a way to increase the efficiency of your friends and/or guild tracking. If not, go make some friends and give the whole teamwork thing a go.
Dismissed! They added it because of addons like this one, but as is the case with almost all other addons that have had their functionality rolled into the default client, the original addon job better or has other functionality that is not reflected in the client. In this case, AuldLangSyne lets you format the data however you want, which I find extremely useful. wow lvl service I like to track my friends' guilds, level, class, zone, status, and I like to have things colorized as well based on some of those stats, as well as some trivial ones like character gender and whatnot. The notes that the client lets you take now are nice and all, but they're just one small feature that makes up AuldLangSyne. It's not going away because of patch 2.4, just like Scrolling Combat Text didn't go away when they added it to the client. " .

The Knights

" think it's a cool idea. Would be best on a roleplay server. If there was an all Paladin guild on Argent Dawn, I'd so be there. From a tactical standpoint, yeah, it's a horrible idea. It's a guild without all their bases covered. Warriors are better tankers, Priests are better healers, but if you're in an all-pally party, well, it's not going to matter as much who's getting a beating, we'd all be running around in Platemail. You have Paladins of all levels, but there'd never be a shortage of class-specific advice, people making Paladin-beneficial gear through tradeskills, basically, it would be geared toward helping the Paladin class out and ONLY the Paladin class out, which can't be all that bad of thing. Such a guild would definately need diverse talent-builds. Each of the respective builds are going to need to play those roles to the best of their ability. And from level 1 to 46, I have never once gone on an instance where the party was made up of only my fellow guildmates, I was always going down with other guilds members, based on this, I can only assume that a single, diverse guild probably isn't all that required, as you're just going to meet up with other guilds' members anyway. On a roleplay server, yeah, a Paladin-only guild would be awesome. My guild's leaders are pretty into the whole political roleplay, so we have ally guilds that we speak with over shared chat channels. So, that is one avenue you could persue." "damm this thread got started again... I thought it was over... wow gold Oh, well, nothing to do about it... There is no cooldown on getting your mount out from the inventory. Yes its in the inventory. Or rather a stone like thingy or something that you click and ""poof"" your mount appears...
wow power level But this is kinda old info, so it might have changed. But, lets say a hunter on his mount goes into pvp with a warrior. H (Hunter) gets off, shots, gets on and starts riding away. The warrior then have a couple of choices on what to do. 1. This must be done before. He can have shut of pvp, meaning he cant be attacked outright. wow gold Some areas though automaticly puts you into pvp mode, and you cant change that while in the area and not before five minutes after you leave it. The pvp switch in general has a 5 min cooldown. 2. If the W (Warrior) wasn't in pvp the H can chanlange him/her to a duel. I'm not sure mounts are allowed, and even if they are, you cant run away. A duel flag will be put down in the ground and if one combatant runs to far away from it, the duel ends. wow power leveling You are also not killed in a duel. You stop at 1 hp with no losses exept the wiining can charge you 100 gold. I think it was 100 gold, not sure. 3a. wow level up Get on his/her own mount and run after, not allowing the H to dismount. 3b. Get on his/her mount and run far, far away. Also note that the dismount, shoot, mount and run strategy has been stated both on forums and on sites a really lame strategy and I also think it has been stated that blizz will do something to make it impossible to use that tactic. of the Golden Hand

" There are a few reasons I think this isn't the best Idea. First, there isn't any diversity. Granted you can come up with some pretty awesome groups with all Paladins, believe me it's worked out really well at times, but at other times you really need a Mage or a Priest. No matter what people tell you, Paladins are not better tanks then Warriors either... Warriors are there to tank and that's what they do best. Paladins are like the all around support guy. He's a Jack of All trades if you will, and you don't want a whole guild without specializations. Second, the point of having a guild is to have purpose and meaning for a group of people to join. Paladins are ALREADY joined by their faith in the light, you shouldn't need to make a Guild of them. wow gold Currently my Paladin is in a guild that is largely night elves and humans, but they all follow the Code of Honor and Righteousness so that's why my Paladin works with them. A Guild gives you more reason to roleplay and enhance your character, making it all Paladins is kinda redundant. Last, everyone would be looking for the same items. wow power level In a Guild you have people that will find something they can't use and will offer it to other guild mates. The mage finds a 2h Sword ... well obviously he offers it up to the people who can use it. If you are all Paladins, then you are all gonna wanna keep the good stuff you have unless you already have better or if it's too high/low level for you. We came across an Item drop the other day that no one could use because none of the party members who were also guild members were able to use the item because of restrictions....
wow gold and most good items are Bind on Pickup meaning you can't get rid of them. So.. just think about keeping your parties and guilds diversified so you can take advantage of anything you come across or anything that comes after you." " think it's a cool idea. Cookie cutters

"In order to answer your question, I've been looking at the Fury cookie cutter build suggested by Ciel in the warrior section of the site. The closest thing to it. would be this hunter build. The things they have in common are: - focussed on sustained dps as well as some crit. abilities. - Piercing Howl/Scatter Shot and kiting. - Abilities that are triggered trough a certain event in a battle As for how useful it is. It doesn't seem half-bad actually. I think it would be best to take Wyvern Sting instead of Scatter Shot in this build, however. I only chose Scatter Shot because that equalled the warrior's fury build the best way (short stun/confuse). You could, theoretically, also put 1 point into Improved Scorpid Sting, since most mobs seem to be of the warrior type. If take Wyvern Sting instead of Scatter Shot, it might also be handy to go 5/5 on Effiency and 1/5 . on Improved Concussive Shot because Wyvern Sting uses quite some mana. When choosing how high Efficiency should be compared to Concussive Shot. wow gold it is usually a matter of how much intelligence your gear provides (... of the owl leather/mail items). Just try around with Efficiency on 1/5 and if you don't have enough mana that way. wow power level put more points into that and less into Concussive Shot. In my experience, I never had too few mana, but I have heard other hunters saying that they do have to keep this in mind. So, like I said. it doesn't seem to turn out to be too bad of a build. However, I think going Beast Mastery/Marksmanship is better for soloing/grinding purpose. (example build - mess around with Concussion Shot and Efficiency so you have enough Efficiency not to run out of mana and put the rest in Concussion Shot).
wow gold But if you play on a PvP server and are a big fan of soloing. and you find yourself in areas such as the Plaguelands or other such high level areas grinding trough soloing quests. it might not be a bad idea to use this ""hunter fury build"". Why. Because it's better for protecting yourself in case of PvP encounters than the Beast Mastery Solo Build. wow power leveling and there are always players in those areas trying to catch you off guard. which makes for a nescessity for a good Solo AND PvP build. In that case, however. Scatter Shot is DEFINATLY better than Wyvern Sting, and Improved Feign Death should probably be replaced with Surefooted 2/3. wow level up Trap Mastery could then be replaced by Trap Efficiency. And you can choose, wether you are more interested in PvE or PvP. to take down on point from Deflection (bringing it to 4/5) and put that into Surefooted as well (making it 3/3). " .

Think Again!

"If you've made the mistake of selecting Blacksmithing as your primary profession, then you will have no choice (no reasonable choice, anyways) to select mining as you second primary profession. If you don't, you'll never have enough WoW gold to spend on anything but buying metal bars at the Auction House to level up your blacksmithing skill. Now, mining is an easy skill to level. Just mine whatever node you come across during your adventures and your skill will almost always be sufficient. Blacksmithing is another matter entirely. wow honor leveling Mandorall, who is a level 70 Paladin, has a blacksmithing skill of 268 or thereabouts, and he got that high -- which is not very high at all, no precious -- by the skin of his teeth. The amount of materials needed to level up the blacksmithing skill, especially above 200, is mind-boggling. You will be using mats worth 20g to make a single item worth maybe 5g at the auction house. The problem, at the point where I'm at, is that the only things that will level my skill are ""Blue"" items which require enormous resources to produce. Now, the items produced are not bad, but since everyone that has blacksmithing HAS to make those items to level up their skill, the Auction House is always glutted with them. wow level service Hence the low price of these items. You know, supply-and-demand, basic Economics 101. I'll be the first to admit that I regret my blacksmithing decision so much that I have not looked around to buy recipes that would maybe make leveling up my blacksmithing skill a little easier on the wallet. However, I have characters with Leatherworking and Tailoring and even at the levels where they are -- around 330 -- there is always a recipe that will produce a leveling point without requiring a second mortgage on the Epic Mount.
wow lvl service That, as far as I know, is not the case with Blacksmithing. I would recommend to anyone considering Blacksmithing as a profession to think again. Is your wallet going to support that extravagant profession. Is your patience for farming up to the task. wow gold Or are you going to end up a penniless husk of a toon, begging for coppers on the mean streets of Stormwind. Visit Hidden Warcraft for more farming tips, gaming advice and Alex's rants about his favorite game! How Not to Die

"Now we know how to create high, consistent TPS. But how do we make ourselves easy to heal. There are two things that will kill you as a tank: slow grinding damage and big spike damage. If you're dying to slow grinding damage it's because your long-term DPS intake from mobs is higher than your long-term HPS intake from your healers. This means that you don't have the gear to tank the fight, your healers don't have the gear to heal the fight, or both. wow gold Either way, stop trying until somebody gets some upgrades. This means, in practice, a tank is going to die either to spike damage or to something that isn’t his fault (e.g., a healer fell asleep at the keyboard, so the tank got ground to death). There are three sources of big spike damage: crits, crushing blows, and spells. A crit deals 2X damage. A crushing blow deals 1.5X damage. wow lvl service A spell deals however much damage the spell deals, and can never crit or crush. You should never die to crits (which deal 2x damage), because you can make yourself crit-immune (see mechanics section of part 1 of this guide for the exception). To make yourself crit-immune to a raid boss you need (as you know from the mechanics section) a total of -5.6% chance to be critted. So much for crits. What about crushes. wow gold Warriors and paladins can become temporarily immune to crushing blows. Druids cannot*. You will always have a 15% chance to be crushed by a raid boss, no matter what you do. You cannot stack enough dodge, enough defense, or enough resilience to become crush immune. Your only defense against crushing blows is to stack armor and hit points enough that they don't matter. wow leveln A crushing blow on a druid can and should be the same as a regular hit on a prot warrior.
That’s your protection against crushes. Your only defense against magic spike damage is AOE avoidance from Predatory Instincts (if the spell is AOE) or lots of hit points. Warriors and paladins innately take less damage than normal from spells; that’s their defense against magic spike damage. wow level service Ours is just to have lots and lots of HP. " .

Some offensive

"Some offensive tanking tips and tricks: The first thing you hit your main target with after the initial pull should be a double Mangle/Maul combo unless you have a super compelling reason not to. Mangle/Maul offers two benefits as an opening combo: It's the maximum amount of threat you can get in the space of a single hit. This gives you a nice threat lead over your DPS so they can open up immediately, which is worth violating the normal rule that says Maul is the last use of your rage. It gives you some insurance against misses, parries, and dodges - if one ability doesn't land, the second one almost certainly will, so you're virtually guaranteed to land with a high-threat ability right off the bat. To perform a Mangle/Maul combo, target the mob and hit Maul before it's in range. This will cast Maul the instant the mob comes in range (which is also when you hit Mangle). Pick up 3/3 Intensity. You can then use Enrage before a pull and have enough rage to hit the mob immediately with a double Maul/Mangle combo. wow gold Your Enrage also then becomes a good tool for using mid-fight if you find yourself temporarily out of rage. If you do lose aggro, use Feral Charge to catch up with the mob. You can then Growl (which is a true taunt) to regain aggro immediately, and give the mob a good Maul/Mangle combo to make sure it doesn’t forget who it’s supposed to be hitting. Remember that Challenging Roar is not a true taunt. It forces the mobs off the threat mechanic, giving you temporary aggro for 6 seconds, but that’s it. If you don’t generate enough threat to get aggro on the mobs for real during those 6 seconds, they’ll go back to whatever they were doing when the 6 seconds are up.
wow lvl service This makes Challenging Roar of limited use for trying to tank a huge pack of mobs. On the other hand, if Growl is resisted, Challenging Roar can give you enough time to land a Maul/Mangle combo on the mob, which will probably boost you to the top of the threat list all by itself. You can’t use Challenging Roar to get aggro on a huge pack of mobs, but you can use it effectively in AOE situations all the same. Wait until your AOEr is in trouble (e.g., the mage has blown all his snare cooldowns and the mobs are beating on him). wow gold Then hit Challenging Roar. Presto – the AOEr has 6 seconds of breathing room for a cooldown to finish, or just to get some more distance. " "There are a number of different ways to pull, all of which are valid. The different pulling strategies trade mana for extra initial threat, so you decide to balance maximal threat (and thus control of the fight) with drinking time. In order of increasing mana intensiveness: From bear form, pop Enrage, and pull with Feral Faerie Fire. Shift into bear form to get rage from Furor, pop Enrage, and pull with Feral Faerie Fire. Starfire your main target, shift into bear form, pop Enrage, and hit with Feral Faerie Fire. Wrath your off-target, Moonfire your main target while the Wrath bolt is still traveling, shift into bear form, pop Enrage, and hit with Feral Faerie Fire. Hurricane an entire pack, shift into bear form, pop Enrage, and hit with Feral Faerie Fire. Demoralizing Roar does not generate a lot of threat. Do not use it as your primary tool to keep aggro against multiple mobs. wow leveln However, it can be used to pick up a spawn or an add (something that is coming into the fight fresh, with no threat built up yet) without having to hit it. If you have a free special attack due to an Omen of Clarity proc, try to use it on Mangle or Lacerate rather than Maul.
Remember that Maul costs about 8 rage in lost autoattack rage whether you pay 10 rage to use the ability or not, so OoC only saves you 10 rage on Maul, whereas it saves you 15 rage on Mangle and 13 rage on Lacerate. The difference is not critical, of course, and not worth seriously interrupting your TPS rotation for. wow level service However, if it just means delaying hitting the Maul key for a moment, it's worth it to save the extra rage. What about Druid taunting?

"What about taunting. A taunt has up to three effects: It sets the taunter’s threat equal to whoever has aggro on the mob (note that this is not enough to trigger the 10% rule or the 30% rule. It gives the taunter aggro, violating the 10% rule and 30% rule. It gives the mob a short debuff that forces it to attack the taunter for as long as the debuff lasts, regardless of threat (i.e., it takes the mob temporarily off the threat mechanic). Some abilities are taunt-like but not true taunts. For instance, the so-called “AOE taunts,” Challenging Roar and Challenging Shout, only have effect #3. This is why the tooltip for Growl says it has no effect if the mob is already attacking you. Actually, strictly speaking, the tooltip is wrong. wow gold If you have 100 threat and aggro, and a hunter has 129 threat, and you Growl, you will still have aggro, but you will now have 129 threat instead of 100. If the main way to generate threat on a mob is to hurt it or heal it, why don’t the DPSers and healers always have aggro. The answer is to cheat. All tanks have abilities that generate more threat than they otherwise would (and most DPSers and healers have abilities that generate less threat than they should, helping us out from the other end). If you try to keep aggro from a rogue by out-DPSing him, you’re going to fail. This is why it’s important for a tank to know which abilities generate the most threat for their rage cost (TPR): you’ve not only got to cheat, you have to cheat efficiently. " " What separates a great tank from a tank that merely got you through the run. wow lvl service A great tank not only gets you to the end of the run, he gets you to the end of the run smoothly.
A great tank finishes the instance in 45 minutes and leaves you going, “Wow … I want to run with that guy again!” How can a tank make a run go smoothly. Two ways. First, by being easy to heal. A great tank has geared in advance to make sure the healer isn’t always scrambling to keep him alive. Second, by having high, consistent threat per second (TPS). A great tank generates so much threat that the DPS can jump in right from the start, and the healers never even think about pulling heal aggro. wow gold A great tank knows how to use his rage to generate the maximum possible threat, resulting in not only high TPS but smooth TPS that isn’t threatened by a few big crits from a mage or a rogue. So which abilities do generate the most threat. Turns out druids have it easy. There is one simple priority order for single-target tanking that all druid tanks must memorize for all mobs, bleedable or non-bleedable. In order from the most TPR to least: Mangle > Lacerate > Maul. In other words, Mangle if the cooldown is up. Lacerate if it isn’t. If you can get off one Mangle and three Lacerates every 6 seconds and still have rage left over, spam Maul until you’re out of rage while repeating 1-2. Repeat 1-3. Swipe can replace Lacerate if you have extraordinarily high attack power (your Swipe has to land for about 336 after-armor damage before Swipe is better TPR than Lacerate). Multi-mob tanking is somewhat harder. wow leveln Swipe is our main tool for holding aggro on multiple mobs. Swipe spam is good enough to hold aggro on three mobs in some circumstances. Swipe does not generate any extra threat (see Offensive Tanking Math, below). This means it generates threat purely through damage dealt.
wow level service Depending on how hard you're getting hit, this might not be enough to out-aggro your healers. The usual way to do ""Swipe spam"" is to: Spam Swipe Spam Maul on your main target When tanking more than three mobs (which is difficult for a druid, but possible) change targets frequently to be sure all the mobs in the pull are getting Swiped." .

roasted

"Once roasted boar meat isn't worth the effort anymore, swing by the Saldean Farm, north of the Tower, and talk to Salma Saldean. She will give you a quest for Goretusk Liver Pie in exchange for eight of your livers. Well, not your character's liver, as he probably needs that, but eight of the ones from the Goretusks. Then you can click the recipe to learn it and go back to the campfire to make your second dish. Now, for the Goretusk Liver Pie, you need a vendor sold ingredient. The good news is that the NPC girl, standing right beside you at the fire, will sell you the Mild Spices that you need, five for 10 copper. We will be using these spices for the next few dishes, so don't be afraid to stock up if you want. So livers + mild spices = pie. Feel free to make pies until the recipe turns green, or you do from the smell of baking livers. Don't forget to fly back to Stormwind at cooking lvl 75 to chat with Stephen Ryback again so that you can keep leveling until your cooking skill hits 150. ( He will also let you learn some more recipes, so pick up those at some point, especially Dry Pork Ribs, Crab Cake and Cooked Crab Claw. ) Then it's back to Westfall to make the rest of your pies and start on Dry Pork Ribs, which also require Mild Spices.

Once you just can't stand Westfall anymore or the exp isn't worth it, head to Darkshore. Now, this is where things get good. Basically, head up and down the coast killing crabs. The farther you get from town, the harder the crabs get. Save all of the crab meat and crab claws that drop while you kill, kill, kill in order to protect the good citizens of Auberdine from this non-agro mob. At level 22, I was still getting 100-150ish exp from the harder crabs towards the far ends of the beach, so don't be afraid to mow these guys down for a while. Once you have a few stacks of claws and meat, head back to the campfire in Auberdine and mix each one with ""Mild Spices"" to crank through cooking levels. Even though these will eventually turn green before skill lvl 150, It was so easy to farm them, I just stayed and maxed out my skill there.

Now, to get past cooking skill lvl 150, you need a book, the Expert Cookbook. It will cost you one gold in Ashenvale or one gold and a few silver at the AH. I got mine at the Auction House to save time. Since our easy recipes are now all green, we'll have to move again. There are really only two good choices that I know of. It's either Duskwood or the Wetlands. If you go to Duskwood, you will be using the Lean Wolf Flank drop with mild spices to make Lean Wolf Steaks. A slightly more expensive option is collecting raptor eggs in the Wetlands to combine with the more expensive Hot Spices to make a Curiously Tasty Omelet. You can even get the Omelet recipe from a quest (Ormer's Revenge) at the excavation site in the Wetlands if you don't want to buy it in Stormwind. Either one of these will get your skill up close to 200 and now you have a few stacks of an item that heals over 500 health and gives you a 6 point boost to stamina and spirit. Not bad for a couple of days worth of work."
